USERRA

We work closely with employers to ensure compliance with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).  We help clients draft and implement policies regarding employees’ military and reserve service, and provide training to key personnel charged with managing associated employment-related concerns.  Our attorneys are well versed in all aspects of the USERRA, including regulations concerning leaves of absence, reemployment and alternative employment, seniority, disability, health, welfare and pension plans, retraining and skills upgrades, notice requirements and other issues.  We help clients resolve disputes, representing them before the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice and other agencies, and in court.
