Infrastructure Development and Finance
We have facilitated the construction of a number of major public infrastructure projects. Our attorneys also assist clients in the formulation of strategies to produce tax and financing savings for projects.
Among recent projects, Bracewell attorneys advised on the public financing, development, construction, leasing, operation and sponsorship of Reliant Stadium (Houston’s 62,500-seat National Football League stadium) and the adjacent 1.2 million-square foot Reliant Center exhibition facility. We also served as counsel to the Houston Astros Baseball Team for the financing, development, lease, operation, sponsorship and naming of Minute Maid Park. We also played a lead role in the development of the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in the central business district of Houston.
