Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Issues
Bracewell attorneys help clients reduce the likelihood of claims of discrimination based on age, disability, race, gender, or other factors through the development and implementation of effective anti-harassment policies and training programs. When complaints of harassment arise, we work with our clients to investigate and resolve matters quickly and appropriately. We also work with our clients to implement performance documentation procedures and other methods to reduce the risk of claims associated with terminations, disability accommodations, and FMLA leave.
We represent employers against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims brought under numerous federal and state statutes, including the Civil Rights Acts, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Equal Pay Act. We regularly appear before local, state, and federal agencies throughout the country on behalf of small and large employers.
