Construction Litigation

When disputes and disagreements arise in the course of construction projects, we draw on our extensive domestic and international litigation experience to effectively pursue client interests. We represent clients in state and federal courts, before boards of contract appeals, and through alternative-dispute resolution methods, including settlement, mediation and arbitration. We work with clients to ensure that our methodologies match their business objectives. After disputes are resolved officially, we conduct analyses to determine how such problems can be avoided and more effectively resolved when they do arise.
We have represented clients in almost every type of real estate-related litigation, including contested building and zoning matters, purchase agreements and lease contract disputes, annexation and disconnection proceedings, forcible entry and detainer actions, mechanics’ lien claims, and condemnation proceedings. We have worked successfully with developers in seeking and opposing injunctive relief, and resolving environmental disputes.
