Robin Miles is a member of the firm's management committee and represents chemical and energy companies, banks, investment banks and investors in senior and subordinated debt financings, acquisition and project financings, structured financings, leveraged buyouts, securitizations, structured commodity arrangements, maritime financings, trade financings, restructurings and DIP financings.

From the company side, Mr. Miles has  been El Paso Corporation's lead counsel for all of its bank and project financings since 2007, including its $1.0 billion E&P credit facility, $1.25 billion corporate credit facility, $750 million MLP credit facility, structured LC facilities and pipeline project financings.

He also represented La Paloma Generating Company in the first and second lien financing for its 1,022 MW gas-fired power plant.

From the lead arranger side, he was lead counsel for Crédit Agricole in its 2011 $950 million secured credit facility for McDermott International, Inc. and in its 2010 $475 million financing of Willbros merger with InfrastruX Group.

Represented project company in restructuring of $800 million construction loan for a 665 MW coal-fired power plant, 2011.

Represented La Paloma Generating Company in the first and second lien financing for its 1,022 MW gas-fired power plant, 2011.

Represented El Paso Corporation in $1.65 billion development, construction, and project financing of Ruby Pipeline (Project Finance International's 2010 "Oil & Gas Deal of the Year"), 2010.

Represented Société Générale as lead arranger in a $172.5 million and $100 million project financing of digital movie projectors, 2010-2011.

Represented US fund manager in the monetization of its European subsidiaries' servicing rights, 2010.

Represented El Paso Natural Gas Company, Colorado Interstate Gas Company, Southern Natural Gas Company, and Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company in $140 million of wholesale accounts receivables programs with BNP Paribas under new accounting rules, 2010.

Represented Ferrellgas L.P. in its $160 million accounts receivable securitization from Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., 2010.

Represented El Paso Corporation in $300 million development, construction, and project financing of Elba Express Pipeline, 2009.

Represented Reliant Energy, Inc. in the development and execution with Merrill Lynch of its credit-enhanced structure for supply and hedging of retail power business, including structuring of ring-fence and credit sleeve transaction (Energy Risk magazine's 2008 deal of the year), 2006-2009.

Represented El Paso Corporation in its $750 million structured letter of credit facilities, 2007-2011.

Represented Société Générale in its committed, first and second lien secured financial gas hedging facility for MxEnergy Inc. (Energy Risk magazine's 2007 deal of the year), 2006.

Represented Planta Eolica Guanacaste, S.A. in $75 million development, construction, and project financing of La Gloria Wind Project in Costa Rica, 2008. 

Represented Reliant Energy, Inc. in its $450 million accounts receivables securitization from JP Morgan Chase, 2002-2006.

Represented Venoco, Inc. in its $500 million senior notes and offering $200 million reserve-based credit facility, 2011.

Represented Apache Corp. in a $5 billion bridge loan to finance the acquisition of oil and gas assets from BP, 2010.

Represented Crédit Agricole as lead arranger in its $900 million and $950 million secured, revolving credit facility to McDermott International, Inc., 2010-2011.

Represented Crédit Agricole as lead arranger in a secured  $175 million revolving credit facility and $300 million term loan facility to Willbros United States Holdings, Inc. to finance the merger with InfrastruX Group, Inc., 2010.

Represented Ferrellgas Partners L.P. in its $200 million, $300 million, $285 million and $500 million high yield offerings and $400 million secured revolving credit facility, 2008-2011.

Represented Old World Industries, Inc. in its secured $200 million revolver and $100 million term loan, 2007-2010.

Represented Merrill Lynch, lead arranger, in its secured $200 million synthetic revolving reserve-based acquisition financing for Callon Petroleum Corporation, 2007.

Represented BNP Paribas, lead arranger, in its secured $390 million revolver and hydrocarbon hedge facility to Belden and Blake Corporation, 2005 and 2006.

Represented Credit Suisse and Bank of America, lead arrangers, in their secured $100 million revolver and $500 term loan B to Lyondell-CITGO Refining, L.P., 2001-2005.

Represented Standard Bank PLC, lead arranger, in its secured $30 million revolver to CHX Belize L.P., the first oil and gas reserved based financing in Belize, 2006-2007.
