Joshua Smilovitz is a member of the firm's Energy, Finance and Real Estate practice. Representative Matters
Represented a landfill gas developer in connection with project financing and the development of a landfill gas-to-energy plant in the Unites States and several international landfill gas flaring projects in Central and South America.
Represented a Fortune 500 company with respect to the sale of convertible debt and notes for approximately $300 million.
Represented a private equity fund with respect to the purchase of approximately $80 million in distressed debt from several national banks.
Represented an investment company in connection with the acquisition of an international dredge manufacturer.
Represented a publicly traded contract research organization in connection with a going private transaction.
Provides regular counsel and advice to competitive electric and gas suppliers on retail supply regulations in all competitive supply jurisdictions in the United States.
