Doug Daniels represents clients in complex business litigation involving issues of commercial finance, contract interpretation, securities law, executive compensation arrangements, real estate transactions, antitrust, trademark and trade secret infringement, and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Daniels has also represented clients in construction disputes, admiralty and maritime disputes, oil and gas well-servicing disasters, wrongful death, products and premises liability, and wrongful termination claims.
Mr. Daniels represents both plaintiffs and defendants. He has tried cases in a number of state and federal courts throughout the Gulf Coast, South Texas, and West Texas regions, and has argued cases before the Texas Courts of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also has significant experience arbitrating cases under the rules and procedures established by the American Arbitration Association.
