Debbie Lacey is a paralegal in the labor & employment section of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. She has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of the labor and employment practice, including: Title VII; ADEA; ADA; FLSA/wage and hour; Sarbanes Oxley; affirmative action plans; non-compete agreements; ERISA; reduction-in-force; traditional labor work; as well as administrative charges with government agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and similar state and municipal agencies; and all phases of mediation, arbitration and litigation. Ms. Lacey has managed a national RICO action, FLSA collective actions, and other single and multiple party employment litigation in multi-state regions.

Giving back to the profession, Ms. Lacey was the advisor for the paralegal program as part of the political science degree plan at the University of Texas at Arlington and has been responsible for ethics training for staff and paralegals in the Dallas legal community. She developed and presented the Utilization of Paralegals and Document Management training program throughout the state of Texas. Ms. Lacey continues to be an advocate for the value-based role of paralegals in today’s challenging business and legal climate.
