Chris Drymalla is an associate in Bracewell & Giuliani’s technology practice. Based in the Austin office, his practice focuses on patent prosecution and litigation with a particular focus on software, electrical and mechanical matters. Chris has experience with patent prosecution, portfolio analysis, patent-related opinion practice, and patent litigation support. He has prepared and prosecuted numerous applications relating to software, web-based applications, computer hardware, semiconductors, memory devices, display systems, test and measurement systems, switching systems, signal processing, turbo-machinery, oil and gas production systems, power distribution systems, radiopharmaceutical systems, medical implant devices, and medical imaging. Chris has experience in the preparation of patent landscape analyses, patentability analyses, as well as non-infringement and invalidity opinions. Chris is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to his legal career, Chris worked as a mechanical engineer in research and development with a focus on thermo-mechanical design, as well as an applications engineer providing support for the implementation of hardware and software systems at National Instruments Corporation.
