Andrew Gajkowski is an associate in Bracewell & Giuliani's Austin office. His practice focuses on representing clients in business and corporate transactions, specifically technology and intellectual property related deals. He has advised public and private companies and has experience counseling clients on licensing transactions and other intellectual property matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, labor and employment, and business litigation issues. Andrew also has experience in copyright, trademark, media and entertainment law, with an emphasis on digital/interactive media, wireless technologies and content licensing.
Andrew counsels technology companies, investors and entrepreneurs in connection with a wide variety of corporate/securities and technology-related transactions as their primary legal counsel through all stages of growth. He works closely with clients to shape key deals and help them finance and grow their technology businesses. Andrew has represented founders, companies and investors in connection with numerous startup company formations and venture capital financings.
Andrew is nationally ranked in 2011 US Legal 500 under technology transactions. According to Legal 500, clients recommend Andrew's “strong practical, business sense; excellent drafting skills; attention to detail and responsiveness.”
Prior to his legal career, Andrew worked as a legislative policy analyst and a radio broadcaster.
