Andrew Spalding has more than 30 years of first-chair trial experience in commercial and business litigation. Mr. Spalding is board certified in both Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Mr. Spalding counsels and represents clients in the energy, real estate, construction, and manufacturing industries. He handles disputes arising out of oil and gas exploration and production, petroleum refining, industrial and commercial construction, real estate transactions and financing, eminent domain, intellectual property agreements, non-compete and trade secret agreements, and employment contracts.

In energy related matters, Mr. Spalding has represented drilling contractors, refinery owners and operators, petrochemical plant owners and operators, power plant owners and operators, transportation and terminaling companies, and royalty owners.

In construction matters, Mr. Spalding has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, project managers, architects, engineers, sureties and construction lenders. He handles eminent domain matters for both landowners and condemning authorities.

Mr. Spalding's experience in tort litigation includes product liability, wrongful death, mass tort, premises liability, workplace and job-site injury, toxic exposure, business torts, fraud and misrepresentation, defamation, professional negligence (in relation to architects, attorneys, engineers, nurses and hospitals), and insurance coverage disputes. His product liability experience is the direct result of his work on behalf of manufacturers and sellers of industrial equipment, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, electrical equipment, control systems, consumer products, soft drinks, firearms and motor vehicle tires.
