White Collar Criminal Attorneys Join Firm in Dallas

DALLAS (June 6, 2007) — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that attorneys Patrick K. Craine and Terence J. Hart have joined the firm as partners in the White Collar Criminal and Regulatory Defense group in its Dallas office.

Prior to joining Bracewell, both were shareholders with the Dallas office of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr PC, where Mr. Hart was leader of the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense practice.

“Terry and Patrick will significantly strengthen our White Collar Criminal Defense practice,” said Marc L. Mukasey, who leads the White Collar Criminal and Regulatory Defense practice of Bracewell. “Their backgrounds and experience are stellar and they will greatly enhance the services we provide to our clients.

Mr. Craine primarily focuses on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement matters and previously worked as an SEC enforcement attorney.  He played an integral role in the investigation of complex financial reporting and accounting fraud cases involving some of the nation’s largest public companies, chief executive officers, chief accounting officers, financial institutions and accounting firms.  He also has extensive experience with commercial disputes and complex litigation.  Mr. Craine graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.

Mr. Hart is a former FBI agent, former Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County and former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas.  He also served as the independent investigator for the City of Dallas regarding the Fake Drug scandal.  His focus in both the civil and criminal areas is in highly regulated industries, such as securities, banking, insurance, health care and environmental.
