Michael Pegues Joins IP Litigation Practice

DALLAS (June 9, 2008) — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that Michael D. Pegues has joined the firm as a partner in its Dallas office, where he will work in the Trial Practice.
Mr. Pegues’ is a licensed patent attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters, with an emphasis on intellectual property and technology. He has represented the interest of major universities, hospitals, and manufacturers, including the University of Chicago, the Cleveland Clinic and Craftmade International, Inc.
Mr. Pegues serves on the Judicial Nominating Commission of Dallas County and is the immediate past president of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association.
Before joining Bracewell, Mr. Pegues was a shareholder with Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr PC. He previously clerked for the Honorable Richard A. Schell, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas.
