NEW YORK (October 6, 2008) — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that Marco E. Palmese has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office, where he will work in the Corporate and Securities Practice.
Mr. Palmese’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructuring transactions. During his career, he has handled all aspects of numerous public and private acquisitions and dispositions, including multi-billion dollar buy and sell-side private equity transactions; cross-border strategic transactions; and cross-border tender offers. He also has significant experience in corporate finance transactions, including debt and equity institutional offerings and private placements and is fluent in Italian.
Prior to joining Bracewell, Mr. Palmese was an associate at the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP.
Bracewell opened its New York office in April 2005 after former New York City mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani joined as a name partner. Since then, the firm's New York office has quickly grown to 57 attorneys.
