Ed Krenik, Scott Segal Named Best Hired Guns

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 13, 2008) — The Hill newspaper has named Bracewell & Giuliani LLP partner Scott Segal and senior principal Ed Krenik best “Hired Guns” in its annual listing of top lobbyists. The designation acknowledges the foremost political insiders that have mastered the art of connecting to Congress. The list is compiled through conversations with members of Congress, key aides and other lobbyists and includes a select group of names that never fail to arise when talk turns to a given issue.
Mr. Segal, who was also named a Top Lobbyist by The Hill in 2007, is co-head of the federal government relations and strategic communications practices at Bracewell.
Mr. Krenik is a Senior Principal for government affairs at the firm. His career in the nation's capital spans nearly two decades, and includes experience in both houses of Congress as well as the executive branch.
