Corporate Practice Among Houston's Top Corporate Law Firms
June 19, 2006
Corporate Board Member magazine ranks Bracewell No. 4
HOUSTON (June 19, 2006) –The results from Corporate Board Member's annual survey of board directors rank Bracewell & Giuliani LLP the fourth best corporate law firm in Houston, up from fifth in 2005.
"Law firms especially value our rankings because they come not from their peers—other lawyers—but from the corporate officers, directors and in-house attorneys who hire law firms and pay their bills," said William S. Rukeyser, editorial editor of Corporate Board Member magazine.
Corporate Board Member's sixth annual Legal Industry Research Study, sponsored by a Baltimore-based consulting firm, identifies the Top 20 national corporate law firms and the Top 5 corporate law firms in 25 major metropolitan areas according to directors serving on boards of publicly traded companies listed with NASDAQ Stock Market, New York Stock Exchange or American Stock Exchange.
The Top 5 law firms in each city are based on the number of votes received and listed in the July/ August issue of the magazine. To access the complete list of results, visit www.boardmember.com.
