Bracewell's Banking Practice Continues to Lead U.S. M&A Activity
August 12, 2010
HOUSTON — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP continues to be ranked among top law firms for banks and financial institutions mergers and acquisitions (M&A). According to league tables released by American Banker, the firm ranked third in the U.S. for the number of bank M&A transactions that it handled in the first half of 2010.
Bracewell's banking practice has consistently placed among the top five firms for financial institutions M&A for more than a decade. The firm's attorneys represent both buyers and sellers in whole bank mergers and branch sales, and work with both issuers and underwriters on initial public offerings and private placements.
