Bracewell Sponsors Scholarship For The British American Foundation Of Texas
June 1, 2010
HOUSTON — In recognition of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP's support for the British American Foundation of Texas (BAFTX), the organization has established a scholarship in the law firm's name. On May 18, 2010, the first Bracewell & Giuliani Undergraduate Award was presented at BAFTX's annual gala. Texas A&M University student Sean Ramage, an environmental studies major, received the $3,000 scholarship from Bracewell Partner John Brantley.
BAFTX's scholarship program aims to assist academically high-performing students by funding tuition and fees for one semester. Bracewell's contributions to BAFTX span across many of the organization's activities with Partner Martin Hunt serving as a member of its Board of Directors.
At Bracewell, mutual respect and dedicated service to clients, colleagues and the community are shared values. As an integral part of the diverse communities in which we work and live, our success is directly linked to that of our neighbors. The firm and its employees offer time, resources and professional services to many civic, charitable and cultural endeavors. These include health care initiatives, arts organizations, homeless shelters, youth organizations, and educational initiatives.
