Bracewell Partner Warren W. Harris Named President of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society

HOUSTON — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP Partner Warren W. Harris has been named president of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society. The Texas Supreme Court Historical Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of papers, photographs, and significant artifacts relating to the Supreme Court of Texas, the appellate courts, and Texas judicial history.
Harris heads Bracewell’s appellate practice. He has handled hundreds of appeals and original proceedings in the Texas Supreme Court, United States Supreme Court, and state and federal courts of appeals.
In addition, Harris is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section, the Houston Bar Association Appellate Practice Section, the IADC Appellate Practice Committee, and the ABA Tort and Insurance Practice Section Appellate Advocacy Committee. He is past president of the University of Houston Law Alumni Association, past chair of the Texas Bar Foundation Fellows, and a director of the Houston Bar Association.
