Bracewell & Giuliani Named Energy Group of the Year by Law360
February 8, 2012
HOUSTON — Bracewell & Giuliani’s energy practice has been named one of five Energy Groups of the Year by Law360. Winners were selected based on a number of factors, including complexity of litigation and significance of transactional work.
Bracewell was selected by Law360 in part for its depth and wide-ranging representation, including transactional, regulatory and litigation. The practice was also recognized for its representation of high-profile clients such as Kinder Morgan, Chesapeake Energy, Entergy Corp., Belyea Power Inc., and NRG Energy Inc.
“To be named one of the top energy practices in the U.S. is a testament to the depth and knowledge of the members of our energy team,” said G. Alan Rafte, co-head of the firm’s business and regulatory practice. “We attribute this award to the representation the firm provides energy clients in the transactional, regulatory and litigation space.”
