July 1, 2007

NEW YORK (July 1, 2007) — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that attorney Jonathan D. Wry has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office, where he will be a member of Bracewell's Finance practice group.

During his career, Mr. Wry’s work has focused on corporate transactions and the representation of M&A participants in virtually all capacities -- purchasers, sellers, lenders and financial advisors.  His clients include real estate investors, private investment/equity firms, insurance companies, commercial banks, and national and international retail and hospitality chains.

“Jonathan’s array of transaction experience is outstanding and we’re pleased to welcome him to our team,” said New York Managing Partner Daniel S. Connolly.

"Bracewell combines a sophisticated financing practice with a remarkable culture," said Wry, "I am delighted to be joining the Bracewell team."

Bracewell opened its New York office in April 2005 after former New York City mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani joined as a name partner. Since then, the firm's New York office has quickly grown to more than 40 attorneys.
