Bracewell Elects Five New Partners

February 10, 2005

HOUSTON (Feb. 10, 2005) Five attorneys at Bracewell & Patterson L.L.P. were recently elected as partners in the firm.

New partners are K. Brock Bailey, Philip D. Fraissinet, Neil E. Giles, Ross D. Kennedy and William R. Marlow. Bailey practices in the firm's Dallas office. All other partners practice in Houston.

"These individuals have demonstrated excellence in their respective practice areas combined with a commitment to outstanding client service," said Patrick Oxford, managing partner. "We welcome them into our partnership with enthusiasm and appreciation."

K. Brock Bailey maintains a diverse transactions practice in the areas of real estate development, finance, telecommunications, leasing and corporations. He received his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1996.

With experience in several high-profile school district litigation cases, Philip D. Fraissinet also concentrates on construction, eminent domain and other business matters for public and private entities. He received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1995.

Neil E. Giles handles civil and commercial litigation cases with emphasis on energy, finance and environmental law. He earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1992.

Ross D. Kennedy's practice involves various commercial litigation matters with a focus on the insurance industry. He received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1996.

With a concentration on the energy sector, William R. Marlow counsels corporate clients in project finance, lending and real estate. In 1992, Marlow earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law where he graduated with honors.
