Two Partners Elected To Bracewell's Management Committee

HOUSTON (March 3, 2010) — Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that partners Sanford M. Brown and Stephen B. Crain have each been elected to serve a three-year term on the firm's management committee.

Based in Dallas, Brown's practice focuses on counseling and representing financial institutions and specialty finance companies in matters involving state and federal banking laws, regulations and enforcement actions and in corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings, holding company formations, Subchapter S corporation elections, and in matters involving privacy and identity theft.

Based in Houston, Crain's practice focuses on complex litigation, with an emphasis on disputes arising in the energy sector. He routinely represents power producers, energy trading companies, and suppliers to the energy industry. He also has experience in US-based and international arbitration both as counsel and as an arbitrator, and he was recently an arbitrator in an international contract dispute.
