Bracewell Partners Ranked Among World's Energy Experts
May 12, 2005
HOUSTON (May 12, 2005) Four Bracewell partners have been listed in the 2005 Guide to the World's Leading Energy and Natural Resources.
Recognized attorneys include Houston partner Alan Rafte, who focuses on energy finance, and D.C. partners Chuck Shoneman, Greg Williams and Joel Zipp, who handle energy regulatory matters.
The energy and natural resources guide is one of many practice area-specific guides included in the Legal Media Group's Expert Guide series which is published by Euromoney, a respected news source for trends and developments in international banking and capital markets. The series has been a source of guidance for in-house counsel in large corporations worldwide, since its inception in 1994. Each practice area guide is produced every two years.
To ensure credibility, the publication's research department carries out an in-depth study of experts in the various fields of law being examined. The research process involves distributing more than 3,500 questionnaires to senior practitioners or in-house counsel involved in the practice area in some 60 jurisdictions and those questionnaires are analyzed and screened for firm, network and alliance bias.
Other Bracewell attorneys listed in the series of publications include: D.C. partners Nancy Jo Nelson and Nancy Wodka in the 2004 Guide to the World's Leading Project Finance Lawyers and Houston partners Mark Evans, Cliff Gunter and Alan Rafte along with D.C. partners Dan Watkiss, Greg Williams and Joel Zipp in the 2003 Guide to the World's Leading Energy and Natural Resources.
