Mr. Craine has extensive experience acting as counsel for broker dealers, investment advisors, hedge funds, officers and directors and corporate entities, as well as individuals involved in federal and state securities investigations. He also represents clients in litigation, arbitration, grand jury investigations and other white-collar criminal matters. Before entering private practice, Mr. Craine served as an SEC Enforcement Attorney. In this capacity, he played an integral role in the investigation of complex financial reporting and accounting fraud cases involving some of the nation's largest public companies, financial institutions, law firms and accounting firms. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County, where he tried numerous jury trials.
Additionally, Mr. Craine has extensive experience with commercial disputes and complex litigation. He has represented bankruptcy trustees and creditors' committees in litigation against former officers and directors and other professional advisors of failed companies. He also has experience in antitrust, auction rate securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities litigation, stockholder derivative litigation, officer and director liability, professional malpractice liability and governmental contract disputes. Mr. Craine frequently represents clients in the banking, financial services, healthcare, real estate, manufacturing and technology industries.
