Associate

William R. Murphy Jr.'s principal practice area is energy transactions with an emphasis on the representation of exploration and production companies in the acquisition and divestiture of various types of oil and gas assets and entities, as well as all types of secured financings.  He also has experience with LNG and midstream oil and gas transactions, as well as general oil and gas representation matters, including negotiation of JOAs, Participation Agreements, Farmin and Farmout Agreements, Services Agreements, Oil and Gas Lease Agreements and related real estate transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Murphy was an assistant vice president at JPMorganChase Bank where he completed their leadership development program.
