William W. Lundquist's practice focuses on commercial litigation, including life, health and disability insurance litigation, business torts, construction disputes and condemnation proceedings. Mr. Lundquist has an extensive practice in both state and federal court, and has handled a number of mediations with favorable results for the client.
Additionally, Mr. Lundquist has a significant amount of experience with litigation involving employee benefit plans under sections 502 and 510 of ERISA, and acts as regional and national counsel for numerous financial service companies in this regard. Such litigation includes claims of breach of ERISA fiduciary duties, disputes between plans and their service providers, benefit claims under retirement plans, benefit discrimination, and other employment-related claims. Mr. Lundquist handles all stages of employee benefit/ERISA litigation, from litigation prevention to appeals. He has also frequently assisted clients by providing advice on plan administrative procedures to avoid or minimize liability.
