Dewey J. Gonsoulin Jr. represents domestic and foreign lending institutions, money center banks, and regional banks in all types of financing transactions. These transactions range from basic forms of lending such as corporate and other working capital loans, revolving credit and letter of credit facilities, to complex financing structures such as syndicated loan transactions, acquisition loans, energy securitizations and project finance. He has particularly extensive experience working with industry-leading energy and agricultural companies.
In addition to Mr. Gonsoulin's broad experience in traditional forms of lending, he also prepares documentation for complex or non-traditional forms of financing, including off-balance sheet lease transactions, asset securitizations and project finance loans. Mr. Gonsoulin also serves as borrower's counsel for many of the firm's corporate clients in various financing transactions and represents commercial creditors in loan workouts and restructurings.
