Farr Nolen is an associate in the real estate and projects section and the energy finance practice of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP's San Antonio office. Her practice focuses on general business areas including the structuring and formation of business entities as well as limited partnerships, limited liability companies, general partnerships, registered limited liability partnerships, and corporations. She also focuses her practice on general real estate matters including the negotiation and preparation of documents relating to the sale, purchase and operation of income-producing properties, commercial leasing, real property development, easements and leases. In addition, Ms. Nolen has experience in water law matters including the leasing and purchasing of groundwater rights.
In particular, Ms. Nolen has developed substantial experience in matters related to the acquisition of student housing projects nationwide including, but not limited to, contract negotiations, due diligence, entity structuring, legal opinions, lender negotiations on conventional loans and loan assumptions, and the preparation of documentation relating to same. In the past year, Ms. Nolen participated in the acquisition of over $106 million worth of student housing projects.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nolen was a member of the St. Mary's Law Journal and served as Phi Delta Phi president for two consecutive years. She was also the recipient of the Federal Bar Association 2002 student award.
