Dianna Bowen represents employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in disputes and allegations concerning labor and employment laws and regulations. She has specific experience in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Texas Payday Act, and Section 1981. Ms. Bowen also advises and counsels management on labor and employment issues and problem prevention strategies, including developing handbooks and policies, conducting employee training sessions, and assisting with employee disciplinary actions and terminations such as reductions in force.
Further, Ms. Bowen represents public school districts, charter schools, public and private colleges, and private schools on a wide range of school law issues, including personnel, special education, student discipline, privacy rights, contracts, civil rights, sexual harassment and construction. Ms. Bowen represents these entities in all aspects of litigation, in both state and federal courts and before administrative agencies and she counsels and advises administrators in formulating preventive strategies, drafting personnel policies and procedures, and training employees in all areas of the law, including labor and employment issues, civil rights litigation, administrative procedures, open meetings and public information issues.

Oliver v. Dallas ISD, 2004 WL 1800878; N.D. Tex. 2005. Granting district's motion for summary judgment for failure to exhaust administrative remedies.
Christopher B v. Dallas ISD, Docket No 052-SE-1006 2007. Lead counsel in special education hearing in which Petitioner was denied residential placement.
Rodgers v. Duncanville ISD, 2005 WL 991287; N.D. Tex. 2005. Affirming district's right to prevent a disruptive parent from entering a school campus.
