Gail N. Salcido

Gail N. Salcido practices in the firm's Labor and Employment Law Section. Ms. Salcido represents employers in connection with administrative proceedings, including those involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission-Human Rights Division, the National Labor Relations Board and the Occupational Safety and Health Administrative agency.
Ms. Salcido has experience litigating claims involving race, national origin, sex , age and disability discrimination and retaliation cases under Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disability Act, and Chapter 21 of the Texas Labor Code, as well as workers compensation retaliation under Section 451 of the Texas Labor Code, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Ms. Salcido has also been involved as co-counsel in cases involving the FLSA, OSHA, and the NLRA.
A portion of Ms. Salcido's practice involves counseling clients on a variety of issues regarding compliance with labor and employment laws and the drafting of employment policies. Ms. Salcido also provides training seminars for a variety of clients, including union avoidance training.
