Geoffrey A. Long advises public and private business clients in mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. He has more than 15 years of experience as legal counsel, helping clients in the structuring, negotiation and integration of a variety of businesses, including management and leveraged buy-outs.

Mr. Long’s clients are engaged in diverse industries, including animal nutrition products; hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal; paper products; medical devices; specialty packaging; electrical, mechanical HVAC and plumbing services; and the operation of live entertainment venues. He also counsels emerging-growth companies in the computer hardware, computer software, telecommunications and biotechnology industries.

Mr. Long represents clients in partnership and commercial matters such as contract negotiations, as well as compliance with corporate, partnership and limited liability company laws, and federal and state securities laws. He provides legal counsel on the environmental issues of commercial transactions, and contracting issues involving environmentally sensitive businesses.
