Representative Matters

Prosecuted copyright infringement claim as attorney of record in federal court for architect against two restaurant conglomerates. Settlement funded for original demand within five months of filing suit.

Won summary judgment on seven consolidated asbestos cases in Nueces County, leading general-issue argument for more than 40 defendants against 69 plaintiffs.

Successful defense of $14 million indemnity claim for alleged personal injuries, forcing dismissal of all defendants.

Lead attorney defending breach of contract claims for architecture firm regarding West African hospital project. Settled one claim favorably and won dismissal of the other.

Led effort to overturn Travis County Standing Order on service of process in asbestos cases, regaining defendants’ right to due process in service of petitions; completing alternate strategy in six months where traditional defendants’ committee had failed for six years.
