Eric B. Storm maintains a general civil litigation and administrative law practice in the areas of energy, oil and gas, and general business litigation, as well as insurance defense. He represents clients at trial, on appeal, and in contested case proceedings before Texas state agencies, including the Public Utility Commission and the Railroad Commission.

Prior to joining Bracewell & Giuliani LLP, Mr. Storm was a law clerk for Texas Supreme Court Justice Wallace B. Jefferson.

Representative Matters 

Representing telecom provider in pending dispute with Texas Comptroller over gross receipts assessments, including representation in state agency contested case, at trial, and on appeal.

Represented the Plaintiff Parkburn Precision Handling Systems Ltd., a Scottish engineering company specializing in the design of marine handling systems, in million dollar breach of contract dispute in federal district court in Austin, Texas.

Represented major electric utility in multiple appeals of rate-case-related regulatory decisions by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

Represented Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority on appeal of a breach of contract dispute to the Third Court of Appeals and to the Texas Supreme Court.

Represented multiple defendants at trial in a multi-million dollar gas purchase and processing contract dispute in the Texas Panhandle.

Represented a member of Congress in high profile civil and criminal matters including pretrial motions, court hearings, and appellate matters.  

Represented mid-size accounting firm in defense of professional negligence lawsuit in San Antonio district court.

Represented an individual defendant in a civil assault case tried to a jury in the Travis County district court.

Representing death row inmate in federal habeas corpus petition.
