John F. Luman III is a trial attorney whose litigation practice focuses on handling diverse and complex business disputes, primarily those related to intellectual property claims of patent, trademark, trade dress and copyright infringement, as well as misappropriation of trade secrets. Mr. Luman has successfully defended and prosecuted numerous patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases in state and federal district courts throughout the country.
Mr. Luman's representative clients are found in a wide range of businesses. For example, Mr. Luman represents internet retailers, oil field companies, railroad services providers and DVR developers.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Luman worked as a mechanical engineer for the Northrop Corporation in Southern California.
