Kacie W. Barbay advises and counsels management on labor and employment issues and problem prevention strategies, including developing handbooks and policies, conducting employee training sessions, and assisting with employee disciplinary actions and terminations such as reductions in force.
Ms. Barbay represents employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in disputes and allegations concerning labor and employment laws and regulations. She has specific experience in affirmative action compliance, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act and the Texas Payday Act.
