Nancy Jo Nelson represents banks, borrowers and issuers in senior debt financings, project finance, trade finance, credit enhancement facilities, bond and capital markets transactions and structured financing arrangements. She has extensive experience in negotiating and documenting both syndicated and single-bank credit facilities, and complex collateral arrangements.
Ms. Nelson works on a variety of international financings, including transactions involving Export-Import Bank, Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the International Finance Corporation, and the Inter-American Development Bank.

$50 million syndicated secured financing of Frac Tech Services Ltd. Represented Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as agent bank, 2007.
$120 million syndicated secured financing of Mercon Coffee Corporation with collateral in 12 countries. Represented Societe Generale, as agent bank, 2006.
$30 million syndicated secured financing of subsidiaries of Aquilex Corporation. Represented Natexis Banque Populaires, as agent bank, 2006.
$250 million syndicated secured financing of Willbros Group Inc. with collateral in eight countries. Represented Calyon, as agent bank, 2004.
$80 million syndicated secured financing for Western Sugar Cooperative. Represented Societe Generale, as agent bank, 2004.
$180 million syndicated secured export financing facility for Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinee, for its bauxite mining operation in Guinea. Lead counsel representing agent bank, 2004.
$1.2 billion syndicated secured financing of El Paso Corporation co-agented by Citicorp North America Inc. and Credit Suisse First Boston. Represented the co-agent banks, 2003.
$250 million syndicated secured financing for InterGen Finance Company B.V. agented by Deutsche Bank A.G. Represented the borrower, 2001.
$550 million syndicated secured financing of Transwestern Pipeline Company, a natural gas pipeline, co-agented by Citibank North America Inc. and JPMorgan Chase Bank. Represented the borrower, 2001.
$450 million syndicated secured financing of Northern Natural Gas Pipeline, a natural gas pipeline, co-agented by Citicorp North America Inc. and JPMorgan Chase Bank. Represented the borrower, 2001.
$139 million Inter-American Development Bank secured project financing of Enron Energia Industrial de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. for its power project in Mexico. Represented the sponsor and its affiliates, 2001.
$225 million Eximbank secured take-out financing for Trayka Elektrik Uretim ve Ticaret A.S. in connection with completion of Turkish power project and related post-completion and working capital credit facilities. Represented the project company, 1998.
$313 million syndicated secured project financing for Gener S.A. affiliates for power plant in Northern Argentina and related transmission line into northern Chile. Co-lead counsel representing sponsor, 1998.
$107 million standby bond purchase facility and related participations in support of hospital revenue bonds for Memorial Hospital System. Lead counsel representing Societe Generale, as standby bond purchaser and fronting bank, 1997.
$50 million OPIC financing for Nuevo Energy Corporation related to acquisition of oil and gas fields off the coast of the French Congo. Represented joint venture energy developers as parallel borrowers, 1995.
