Jeffrey L. Oldham

Jeff Oldham is an appellate attorney focusing on commercial and constitutional litigation, with particular emphasis on securities and public law. Mr. Oldham has briefed U.S. Supreme Court cases, and he has handled numerous appeals and argued several cases in the federal appellate courts. He also has experience in Texas state court with formulating pre-trial strategy, writing motions and preserving error at trial, and handling appeals.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Oldham served as Counsel to the Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a law clerk to Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist, U.S. Supreme Court, and to Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Prior to joining Bracewell, Mr. Oldham was an associate in the Supreme Court and Appellate group at Mayer Brown LLP.
