Martin Hunt practices from Bracewell & Giuliani LLP’s London and New York offices. Mr. Hunt represents and counsels national and international clients in the oil and gas, telecommunications, water, construction and chemicals industries, in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and private equity funds. He is a qualified English solicitor and is admitted to practice law in Texas and New York.
Mr. Hunt counsels European companies that have businesses in the United States, and U.S. companies that do business overseas, on transactions, key contracts, multi-million and multi-billion dollar acquisitions and mergers, and the potential antitrust issues that arise from these activities. He has represented numerous clients on transactions in more than 60 countries.
Prior to joining Bracewell, Mr. Hunt practiced law for several years in the corporate section of Slaughter and May, one of the largest law firms in England, where he gained significant experience in international mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

Represented Shell International in the global disposition of its metals and minerals business.
Represented Shell International in its disposition of its downstream assets in Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
Represented private equity fund manager as the €250 million fund focused on Southeast Europe.
Represented water utility company in the acquisition of more than 50 water companies in the United States.
Represented Sterling Diagnostic Imaging on its acquisition of assets from Dupont in 15 international jurisdictions.
Represented propane company in the acquisition of more than 20 propane companies in the United States.
Represented Shell on the acquisition of propane assets in the United States.
