Anthony H. Anikeeff leads the firm’s government contracts counseling, trial, and investigations practice. He represents domestic and foreign companies with respect to conducting business with the federal, state and local governments. Mr. Anikeeff works with clients in obtaining contracts, teaming, outsourcing and privatization, bid protests, claims and terminations, conflicts of interest, regulatory compliance, dispute avoidance, security clearances, FOIA, False Claims Act and qui tam matters, suspension and debarment matters, as well as government and internal investigations. He also represents clients regarding various international trade regulation matters, such as export licensing and foreign trade zones.

Mr. Anikeeff represents clients in diverse energy, information technology, aerospace, ground support, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction and service industry sectors, serving defense, homeland security, and civilian departments and agencies.

Mr. Anikeeff is a seasoned trial and appellate lawyer who, and as appropriate, advances clients' interests through litigation, trial, appeal and alternative methods of dispute resolution. He also guides clients through internal and government investigations and resulting proceedings. He also represents clients in False Claims Act and qui tam cases, and suspension and debarment proceedings. In doing so, he draws upon his experience representing the United States for many years in resolving complex, high-dollar contractual, statutory and constitutional disputes, as well as Congressional Reference matters while serving as a senior trial counsel and assistant director in the Civil Division, United States Department of Justice. Mr. Anikeeff also is a frequent lecturer on government contracts.
