Isabel S. Andrade represents employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in disputes and allegations concerning labor and employment laws and regulations. She has specific litigation experience with the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Section 1983, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, and various tort and state law claims.
Ms. Andrade advises and counsels management in both the public and private sectors on labor and employment issues and problem prevention strategies, including developing handbooks and policies, conducting employee training sessions, and assisting with employee disciplinary actions and terminations such as reductions in force. She has specific experience in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the WARN Act, the National Labor Relations Act and the Texas Payday Act.
Ms. Andrade also represents management interests in collective bargaining and provides training on various traditional labor law issues such as Weingarten Rights and contract compliance.
