We are pleased to announce R. Kelly Plato, senior vice president and managing director at NGP Capital Resources Company, as the speaker of our February Private Equity Breakfast meeting in Houston.

Kelly Plato serves as senior vice president and managing director of NGP Capital Resources Company and NGP Investment Adviser, Additionally, Mr. Plato serves on the governing board of two of the company's portfolio companies, Rubicon Energy Partners, LLC and Resaca Exploitation, Inc. Prior to joining NGPC, he was partner and co-founder of Odyssey Energy Capital, LP. a private capital provider to the energy industry and successor to Mirant Americas Energy Capital, LP. From September 2001 to March 2003, Mr. Plato served as Director for Mirant Americas Energy Capital, LP. From January 1999 until August 2001, he served as vice president and chief financial officer of Tri-Union Development Corporation, a privately-held exploration and production company. He received his B.S in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1992 and his J.D from South Texas College of Law in 1996.

INGP Capital Resources Company is a financial services company organized in July 2004 as a Maryland corporation to invest primarily in small and mid-size private energy companies, which generally have net asset values or annual revenues of less than $500 million and are not issuers of securities that are publicly traded on a national market. Their investment objective is to generate both current income and capital appreciation primarily through debt investments with certain equity or property components. NGPC is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company that has elected to be regulated as a business development company, or BDC, under the Investment Company Act of 1940, or the 1940 Act.
