We are pleased to announce Vincent D. Foster of Main Street Capital Corporation as the speaker at our September Private Equity Breakfast in Houston.
Vincent D. Foster serves as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Main Street Capital Corporation. He also is the chief executive officer and a member of the firm's investment committee. Since 2002, Mr. Foster has been a senior managing director of Main Street Mezzanine Management, LLC and Main Street Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Foster has also been the senior managing director of the general partner for MSC II, a second SBIC managed by Main Street Capital Corporation. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Foster was the senior managing director of the predecessor entity of MSMF. Prior to that, Mr. Foster co-founded Main Street Merchant Partners, a merchant-banking firm.
Mr. Foster currently serves as a director of Quanta Services, Inc., an electrical and telecommunications contracting company, U.S. Concrete, Inc., a provider of ready mixed concrete and concrete related products, Carriage Services, Inc., a death care company, and Team, Inc., a provider of specialty industrial services. In addition, Mr. Foster serves as a director, officer and founder of the Houston/Austin/San Antonio Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. From 1998 to May 2002, he served as the non-executive chairman of Quanta Services, Inc. He has also served as director and non-executive chairman of U.S. Concrete, Inc. since 1999.
Prior to his private investment activities, Mr. Foster was a partner of Anderson Worldwide and Arthur Andersen LLP, where he also served as director of Andersen's Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions practice for the Southwest United States and specialized in working with companies involved in consolidating their respective industries.
