We are pleased to announce Jeffrey Sangalis of ORIX Corporate Capital, as the speaker at our May Private Equity Breakfast.

Jeffrey P. Sangalis, CFA, Managing Director, focuses on mezzanine and private equity co-investments for ORIX Corporate Capital. Mr. Sangalis’ background includes more than twenty years of experience in the commercial, investment and merchant banking fields with a particular emphasis on the mezzanine and private equity asset classes.

Previously, Mr. Sangalis was a founder and Managing Partner of Capital Point Partners, a middle market mezzanine and private equity firm. Prior to forming Capital Point Partners, Mr. Sangalis was a founder and Managing Partner of RSTW Partners and its predecessor entities. Founded in 1989, RSTW specialized in mezzanine capital for middle market companies. Mr. Sangalis also was a Vice-President with First Texas Merchant Banking Group, a subordinated debt lender, a Vice President with Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank), and employed with Bank of America and its predecessors in various commercial lending capacities. Mr. Sangalis currently, or has, served as a director or advisory director of more than 25 portfolio company boards. His is past President and currently a board member of the Association for Corporate Growth Houston and board member and past two term President of the Houston Private Equity Association. Mr. Sangalis received a B.S. from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
