Energy Compliance Network (ECN) Meeting

This ECN meeting will focus on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's recent Rule concerning "Significant Price Discovery Contracts" and compliance and oversight issues associated with trading in carbon allowances/emissions/renewable energy certificates (REC).
Ron Oppenheimer, of Merrill Lynch Commodities, will speak about the Significant Price Discovery Contracts. Bracewell partners David Perlman and Dan Watkiss will address the carbon/emission/REC issues, including those raised by the recent Waxman/Markey Discussion Draft.
