Energy Bar Association Houston Chapter Fall Luncheon
Tue, 11/17/2009
Texas
The Energy Bar Association’s Houston Chapter presents “Asset Management Agreements -- Structural, Commercial, and Regulatory Issues to Consider.”
Bracewell & Giuliani LLP will host the EBA Houston Chapter Fall Luncheon.
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Audio conference will also be available.
In June 2008 and thereafter, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued Order Nos. 712, 712-A, and 712-B, which provide for, among other things, the prearranged release of capacity to "asset managers" in order to optimize the use of transportation and storage capacity on FERC-jurisdictional assets. A panel will discuss the structural, commercial, and regulatory issues that should be considered when negotiating and drafting Asset Management Agreements in light of Order No. 712 et seq. and generally.
Panelist:
Chuck Brown - Attorney, BP America
Lance Roth - Vice President of Asset Management, Sequent Energy Management
Jimmy Vallee - Attorney, Jones Day
