Directors Roundtable: Healthcare Compliance Program
Tue, 03/02/2010
New York
Many industry leaders believe that the Department of Justice’s New Year’s resolution was to increase prosecutorial scrutiny and aggressive criminal and civil enforcement in the healthcare industry. The Distinguished Speakers will discuss what can be done to protect Directors, Top Management, and their organizations.
Johnathan Halpern will serve as a panelist at the discussion on the "2010 Regulatory and Compliance Outlook for the Healthcare Industry." Marc Mukasey will moderate the program.
Topics to include:
- What measures can companies take to ensure effective compliance programs designed to withstand heightened enforcement scrutiny from federal and state law agencies?
- What challenges can healthcare reform legislation present to effective compliance programs and how to address such challenges?
- Why have compliance programs never been more complicated or more necessary?
- How should a defense be mounted when personal liability and an organization’s finances and reputation are at stake?
For more information or to RSVP for the program, please contact Alisa Tristan at alisa.tristan@bgllp.com.
