On Saturday, March 27, Bracewell & Giuliani was presented with an award for our support of Diversity Education Weekend and the Ashaki Young Scholars Program at The University of Texas Thurgood Marshall Legal Society's (TMLS) 29th Annual banquet. Diversity Education Weekend brings various minority organizations together for lectures, panels, and a reception and is a collaborative effort between TMLS and Chicano/Hispanic Law Students Association. The Ashaki Young Scholars Program mentors young ladies attending the Austin Alternative Learning Center. The women of TMLS act as positive influences and guides on achieving educational goals and other aspirations.

Bracewell was a platinum sponsor for the banquet where the theme of the night was "Setting The Course Towards Excellence". The keynote speaker for the evening was Justice Dale Wainwright, Supreme Court of Texas.
