For over 10 years, the Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association has hosted distinguished guests including Texas legislators, judges, and prominent community leaders to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and prepare themselves to meet new challenges and set additional goals to advance Hispanic/Latino issues within the law school and in Texas. In attendance at this event were attorneys and UT alumni from all over the state, as well as current law students and various student leaders from Texas universities.

This year, the keynote speaker was the Judge Xavier Rodriguez, United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas and UT Law alumnus. At the celebration, CHLSA honored the following individuals with the CHLSA Spirit Awards:
