On January 15, Bracewell's Diversity Manager, Marredia Rogers, took part in two panels at the 39th Annual Regional Convention for Rocky Mountain and Southern Regions of the National Black Law Students Association, held in conjunction with the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. The conference hosted more than 400 law students and 100 college students from more than 20 states and universities.

Ms. Rogers was a panelist on a forum titled "First-Year to Professional: Transitioning Tips for Each Critical Stage." The workshop provided first-year law students with tips and strategies to successfully navigate each critical stage of the law school career, including guidelines for developing an outline to ensure proper timing of the academic and professional "do's."

Ms. Rogers was also a panelist for the session titled "Creating a Brand Called You,"  where she discussed the necessity of building your personal brand and professional reputation with attendees. The panel featured topics of etiquette, resume writing, and professional networking, while discovering additional techniques to take students to the next level.
